Our History
Washington Credit & Equity began in 1996, as a boutique investment
banking firm, mainly financing tugs, barges, corporate aircraft and
commercial vehicles. Our focus has broadened to now include
commercial real estate and lines of credit. On the equipment side, our
capabilities are also continually expanding. Transportation equipment
lending is now supplemented by the financing of food processing, farm,
industrial and construction equipment.
We initially concentrated on providing super-competitive (LIBOR-based)
financing to highly profitable companies. While our commitment to this
segment of the market place is stronger than ever, we have evolved to
where we also provide shorter-term financing to companies experiencing
temporary difficulties.
Our intention is to adapt our business model and thinking, so we can put
forward new approaches in the financial services market place.
